MY SHOWREEL INTRO: RESEARCH
A TYPOGRAPHY STUDY
Why first impressions Matter
An engaging intro sets the tone for my showreel, providing a glimpse of my creative style and establishing a strong first impression. The showreel itself is a curated showcase of my best work, designed to highlight my skills, versatility, and storytelling ability as a 3D motion designer. It’s not just a collection of projects—it’s a visual résumé that communicates my expertise and passion in a way words cannot.

The 2024 on top sets the timeframe in which the creations inside the showreel have been produced, made of a glass texture it allows to showcase the all movements happening behind

Searching for a more creative way to introduce the year element I test some displacement technique with geometry node in Blender

I go through several phases to understand what would be the best way to introduce the design applying the geometry node technique directly on my typography

The animation of the color ramp within the geometry node just before some solidify and smooth modifiers brings me more and more interesting paths

Always testing new textures to assess the impact on the general composition

Introducing the glass element back in a more minimalistic way to tell a story on how the word fits and compress inside an other object
